  1. Loved the video! Just wondering if you can tell the difference between a dog that has been abused versus one that has not?

    3. The only way that you can know for sure is if they are rescued or you have witnessed it. Obviously dogs who have been abused display a certain characteristics that differ from dogs who have not been abused. Oftentimes they can be timid around humans, aggressive or react to certain triggers such as loud noises or fast movement. The only indication of mistreatment that Halo displayed was timidity around humans. But just like people, dogs display their psychological damage in different ways.
